EMS acquires worldwide touring rights to „Star Trek: The Exhibition“ – Big Opening in the US
St. Louis, 28 October 2011 – Star Trek is one the most popular TV-series in the world and fascinates millions of fans. „Star Trek: The Exhibition“ is the largest collection of original artefacts, props and costumes on display. On 28 October 2011 EMS – Event Marketing Service GmbH – opened Star Trek: The Exhibition at the Saint Louis Science Center (Missouri, USA).
EMS Exhibits acquires worldwide rights
EMS EXHIBITS, a division of Event Marketing Service GmbH, acquired the worldwide and exclusive production and touring rights to „Star Trek: The Exhibition“ from CBS, one of the leading media groups in the world. „As one of the market leaders in international travelling exhibitions we are very proud to be able to add „Star Trek: The Exhibition“ to our portfolio after our tremendous success with „CSI: The Experience“, says Mag. Christoph Rahofer EMS-CEO und producer. „The cooperation with international brand owners and licensors like CBS reflects our experience in the entertainment field as well as the top level quality EMS delivers in all of ist production.“ After NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, the Saint Louis Science Center (Missouri) is the first stop of this high quality exhibit opening October 28. Star Trek: The Exhibition will be on tour throughout the US and the world as of 2012.

1966 Gene Roddenberry created Star Trek which fascinates a worldwide audience for more than 45 years. Six Sci-Fi TV-series with 726 episodes, eleven movies and numerous products have entertained and educated the world.

The world’s largest Star Trek Exhibition
Along the exhibition visitors dive into the history of Star Trek and space exploration. Star Trek fans are compelled with a top selection of original artefacts from the movies and TV-series as they have been used at their time. Original props and costumes as well as space ships are on display and a creation of the NG bridge and the transporter room are there for exploration of space. „This exhibition is unique! Where else can you sit in Captain James T. Kirk’s chair and get the feeling of being a space ship commander?“ aks Christoph Rahofer. The exhibition also offers simulator rides.
