
Barbie: The Dreamhouse Experience™ is a 25,000 square-foot interactive installation bringing the iconic Barbie Dreamhouse toy to real life for fans of all ages. Visitors have the opportunity to discover the many rooms and living areas of the Dreamhouse, each with interactive opportunities and some with unique photo opportunities.
Barbie: The Dreamhouse Experience™ is an all new, life-sized Barbie Dreamhouse which is meant to allow visitors to be immersed in the world of Barbie. Visitors are invited to touch, feel and engage with the interactive components of the house truly making it feel like an experience.
Barbie: The Dreamhouse Experience™ delivers a personalized experience by leveraging wristbands with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. LED touchscreens and other technical assets located within the house give fans the opportunity to interact with and create their own personalized experiences
Planning and creating Barbie: The Dreamhouse Experience™ has been a collaboration between Mattel and EMS, a global creator of interactive experiences. The concept, planning, design and construction have taken over one year. The opening of Barbie™: The Dreamhouse Experience in Florida will be on May 6th, in Berlin on May 16th. The Dreamhouse is located in Berlin, Germany. In the future, a tour is expected to take the Dreamhouse on the road to other major cities across Europe.
